Description
Cannock Chase District Council are recommissioning their Leisure Services. The services include the management of the Council's leisure facilities, provision of activities and programmes within the facilities to support residents to be more active.
It is anticipated that the scope of services shall include:
Chase Leisure Centre
Rugeley Leisure Centre
Fives' Pavilion and Sports Ground
Cannock Park Golf Course
The service will compromise management of these facilities. These facilities will also be expected to support the Council's wellbeing provision which includes a varied programme of activities and active wellbeing services for residents, workers and visitors to the District.

Engagement process description
The Council would like to engage with experienced leisure / active wellbeing facility operators and service providers to inform the upcoming procurement process.
The Council shall be conducting individual market engagement meetings (c. 30 minutes via Microsoft Teams) with interested parties on the following dates:
28 April - between 1130-1330
29 April - between 1400-1700

Once a meeting time has been assigned to you, an invitation with Microsoft Teams link will be sent to the person(s) identified.
If you are not able to attend, the introductory presentation and other key information will be shared via the Proactis - Supplier Network portal, following publication of the Tender Notice.
The purpose of the market engagement meetings shall be to:
* Support development of Authority's requirements and approach to the procurement
* Inform the designing of a procedure, conditions of participation or award criteria
* Support the preparation of the tender notice and associated tender documents
* Identify suppliers that may be able to supply the service required
* Identify likely contractual terms.
Areas to be explored with attendees shall include:
* Scope of services
* Contract term
* Design of the procurement procedure
* Consideration of investment in facilities
* The procurement programme and timescales
* Structure of the contractual relationship e.g. use of agency approach
* Allocation of risk e.g. repair, maintenance and lifecycle replacement responsibilities
The Council further intends to host a Market Interest Day for bidders in August 2025, following publication of the Tender Notice (anticipated for c. 1 August 2025). This will provide an opportunity for interested parties to visit the facilities in scope, to understand more about the Council's ambitions for the future delivery of the services and to receive further information on the tender process.
