The authority seeks to increase it's Alcohol data set through the purchasing of data from the 'Try-Dry App'. This local data will enable the authority to support our local populations to change their own drinking behaviours.

This cuts crime, increases economic activity and reduces demands on our health and social care systems. It also reduces the number of people who need specialist alcohol treatment services.

(i) monthly data on signups by postcode and demographics, (ii) quarterly impact reports on drinking level reductions, and (iii) up to two live webinars annually, each with unlimited numbers of 'referral professionals' (GPs, police officers, social workers, paramedics, environmental health workers, benefits staff, local authority marketing and communication staff, pharmacists, or some or all of these) which outlines: (a) what the Try Dry app does that no other tools do, (b) how and why it works, (c) the evidence for its effectiveness, (d) who to refer it to, and (e) suggestions for how best to refer people to it.
