two.1.4) Short description

The purpose of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Equipment Assessment Service is to ensure that people throughout Gloucestershire, who are profoundly deaf or who have a medically identified hearing impairment, and particularly those who are older, frail and vulnerable, have access to: equipment that will improve a person’s ability to receive information from their environment in relation to independence and safety and to access information; appropriate information and services to support a person in maintaining their wellbeing, independence and quality of life and to assist with rehabilitation programmes and life skills training in accordance with the current Council’s Sensory Equipment Policy.

We expect potential contractors to meet a number of minimum standards; these are detailed in the ITT. We advise all interested contractors to read the entire ITT and all documents referenced or linked to within the ITT carefully, to inform themselves about the opportunity and whether they would be interested in submitting a response. Deadline for submitting a tender response: 2nd August at 10am. Please login to Procontract via www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk and register your interest in the opportunity. You will then be issued a confidentiality agreement which needs to be completed and sent via ProContract, in order to access the ITT documents.
