Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council (“The Council”) is inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver Family Support as detailed in the Contract documents and upon the terms and conditions contained in the attached Conditions of Contract.
The aim is to ensure those with parental responsibilities living in the Flying Start areas have the necessary skills and confidence to support the physical, emotional and educational development of their children so that the family can enjoy positive and meaningful lives.
The Flying Start Early Years Family Support Workers will work towards a model of inclusion to ensure that parents participate fully in the FS programme and will support identified families on an individual and group basis to meet identified outcomes.
