Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB) is an Executive Agency of the Scottish Government. The Chief Executive is also The Accountant in Bankruptcy (The Accountant) who is appointed to exercise all of the functions of The Accountant as specified under The Bankruptcy (Scotland) Act 2016 (as amended).
This Prior Information Notice (PIN) with Request For Information (RFI) relates to AiB's requirement for the provision of Insolvency services. This framework will be intended to cover the administration of allocated sequestration cases where The Accountant is appointed Trustee. These services will be required across the whole of Scotland. The RFI document can be found within the Additional Documents section of this PIN.

The scope of the framework will be intended to cover the administration of allocated sequestration cases where The Accountant is appointed Trustee. These services will be required across the whole of Scotland.

The publication of this PIN and RFI does not commit AiB to any particular procurement process or to appoint any Contractor.
Potential participants must note that a response to this PIN and RFI does not form part of any selection process. Should a notice inviting requests to participate in a procurement exercise be published a new expression of interest would be required in accordance with that notice.
AiB reserves the right to amend the scope of the requirement as described in this PIN and RFI. This PIN indicates that the requirement will not be split into Lots, however the responses to this RFI will help to inform the finalised framework structure.
