NHSBT has 2 requirements for Transfer Bags as below:NHSBT Reagents production is located at the Speke, Liverpool site. NHSBT Reagents is a specialised function within the Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services Directorate of National Heath Service Blood and Transplant (NHSBT). NHSBT Reagents manufacture a range of In Vitro Diagnostic Devices and applies the CE mark (where appropriate) in accordance with 98/79/EC. Bags are used routinely as part of a sterile closed system used to manufacture these devices. The entry ports are an integral part of the bag and are often used multiple times to add diluents and red cells and make adjustments if necessary.AndNHSBT Sem Cells have requirements to collect or store cellular components for including haemopoietic stem cells for transplantation, plasma, Human Albumin solution or cellular waste products. The bags are routinely used as part of a sterile closed system
