Scope

Description

NELFT is seeking to better understand the market capability and delivery approaches available for the provision of the NMC approved Independent and Supplementary Nurse Prescribing (V300) programme. Following two unsuccessful tender exercises, we are issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to engage with potential providers — particularly Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) approved educational institutions — to identify barriers, opportunities, and viable delivery models that can support NELFT’s workforce development needs. The purpose of this RFI is to gather insight into the capacity of educational institutions, preferred modes of delivery, operational considerations, and any constraints that may have previously prevented participation in tendering. Responses will help NELFT refine its requirements, assess market feasibility, and design a procurement approach that is realistic, accessible, and aligned with the academic structures and governance processes of the market.
