North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is working for and on behalf of NHS County Durham CCG NHS Tees Valley CCG - Darlington, Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland Locality areas only, Sunderland CCG, Gateshead locality of Newcastle Gateshead CCG and South Tyneside CCG (Contracting Authorities) to undertake further market engagement via a 1:1 meeting with potential providers in order to gain a better understanding of the capacity and appetite of the market to deliver Home Oxygen Assessment and Review Service.

The aim of the service is to provide a Home Oxygen Assessment and Review Service (HOS-AR) to ensure that home oxygen is appropriately prescribed to those people who clinically need it.

Details of the 1:1 meeting will be as follows:

For those that cannot attend in person for the face to face meeting, alternate virtual meeting arrangement via Microsoft Teams will be made.

Each 1:1 meeting session will be between 45 mins - 1 hour.

Each organisation will be allowed to bring 2 members to the face to face meeting or up to 3 to attend via teams.

Agenda for the session and timeslots for attendance will be circulated via Intend to all those who registered their attendance closer to time.

It is important to note that this PIN is not a call for competition and as such potential providers will need to express an interest in any future tender opportunity once a contract notice is published on Find and Tender Service and on Contracts Finder.

It should also be noted that this PIN invites individuals and organisations to express an interest in attending the 1:1 meeting and is NOT a pre-qualification questionnaire, and is NOT part of any pre-qualification or selection process.
