NHS Trusts, Mental Health Trusts and CCG's may have a requirement for fully compliant supplementary solutions for the delivery of patient care to help ensure participating authorities' key performance Indicators are maintained. This may involve, from time to time, working with external providers to assist in meeting this need both on NHS Trust premises and on provider premises. This framework agreement seeks to assist in meeting that need, across two lots:

Lot 1: Supplementary healthcare provided on provider premises,

Lot 2: Supplementary healthcare provider on Trust premises.

seven.2.1) Description of the modifications

Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

Decision taken to increase the value of Lot 1 of the the framework agreement by £300,000, given the high priority operational needs of NHS to procure these particular services at short notice during the current Covid-19 pandemic and beyond.

Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee.
