two.2.4) Description of the procurement
York Teaching Hospital Facilities Management (part of York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) would like to engage with potential system providers within the nurse call systems market.
The challenges are to select a standard for all new and upgraded systems for the duration of a proposed new long-term contract with a market leading supplier whilst maintaining support and integration where required with our existing range of systems across all of our sites.
Current systems including Austco, Static and Wandsworth.
We are looking for manufacturer led solution able to supply, install and maintain.
Our aspirations are to have a long-term agreement in place that will allow for the responsive and planned replacement of existing systems based on a targeted and prioritised investment programme.
If you are able to meet these requirements and can offer insight into both the integration challenges and recent developments in nurse call system technology, then we would love to hear from you!
An open day is planned and should you wish to be invited then please contact paul.horsefield1@nhs.net
