Please note - this is not a public tender Competition - Pre-Market Engagement Exercise only. The Department for the Economy’s Careers Service offers impartial and personalised advice and guidance on an all-age basis provided by professionally qualified Careers Advisers. The provision of high-quality careers services plays a crucial role in connecting our people with the full range of opportunities across our economy. We know from the young people, parents and adult clients we work with that access to high quality and relevant careers guidance is critical to ensuring a positive transition from education to employment. Professional and personalised guidance is available to all clients via digital channels, including webchat, telephony and email. Online resource guides are also available to support young people, parents and adult clients in making informed career choices. Careers Software Tools are used by careers advisers and careers teachers to support the careers guidance process. The Careers Service is seeking to introduce additional interactive technology which can address the specific issues people with ASD face when trying to access careers advice. It is envisaged that the solution will be incorporated into the current guidance process to support clients with ASD to articulate what their interests are and how these can be channelled into possible careers choices, learning pathways and employment.
