The Authority invites bids in this procurement process for the provision of annual Servicing, Maintenance, Repair and Replacement of Appliance Bay Doors, and other doors/shutters/barriers. The requirements include; planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and reactive maintenance (fault call-out services) for existing appliance bay doors, and any new doors once warranty maintenance has expired (if installed by others), as well as PPM and reactive maintenance for other door assets which shall include but not be limited to: DERV fuel tank roller shutters, entrance barriers, fire shutters for servery counters, automatic doors, and automatic gates and any other similar/related assets agreed and varied into the contract during the life of the contract. The requirement shall also include repairs and where required replacement with new door assets, contract management responsibilities including KPI reporting.

Description of options

The Authority proposes to enter into the Contract for an initial term of three (3) years and (6) months. Services Commencement Date is 01 October 2024.The Authority has made provision for the option to extend the contract beyond its initial term for a further period or periods not exceeding two (2) years in total (24 months). Award of any extensions will be made in 12-month intervals.The overall contract value stated in this notice is for the full contract period (initial term and extensions) which is estimated in the region of £660,000.00 (inc. VAT). Thisvalue includes annual planned preventative maintenance (PPM) for all identified assets and an estimate of reactive maintenance callouts and repairs. This calculates to anannual contract value in the region of £120,000 (inc. VAT).
