two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Local authorities have a statutory function to deal with stray dogs in the Public Realm.

To discharge this function Harrow Council is considering tender of a service from suitably qualified and appropriately licensed companies for the Provision of a Dog Warden Service to operate within the boundaries of the London Borough of Harrow.

The chosen Service Provider would provide a comprehensive and fully inclusive service solution for all administration, operational resources, kennelling, rehoming and other reasonably associated costs to cover the full scope of specified services in operation 24/7.

We are currently seeking to gain a better understanding of the market and are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified companies who would be interested in submitting a tender to provide the services.

To assist us with developing the most advantageous tender we would welcome your feedback on a delivery approach. As such we may be in touch with companies who express an interest prior to publishing a tender.
