Description

Tameside Council and St Helens Council are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified contractor/s for the Workwear Rental and Managed Cleaning and Repair Services.

This contract is split into 2 Lots as below:

Lot 1 - Tameside Council

Lot 2 - St Helens Council

Bidders can bid for one or both Lots. The Councils will award the contract to the most advantageous bidder for themselves (they reserve the right to award the contract to one supplier or two based on the outcome of the evaluation).

Lot 1. Lot 1 - Tameside Council

Description

Tameside Council is looking to appoint a Supplier to provide Workwear Rental and Managed Cleaning and Repair Services (the "Services"), with the aim of providing clean good-quality workwear, bearing value for money and sustainability in mind.

The Contract Period is four (4) years.

  • £40,000 excluding VAT
  • £48,000 including VAT

  • 1 May 2026 to 30 April 2030
  • 4 years

Lot 2. Lot 2 - St Helens Council

Description

St Helens Council is inviting potential suppliers to provide a Managed Garment Service (supply and clean of engineers / mechanics overalls) to the Transport section based at at Hardshaw Brook Depot, Parr St, St Helens, WA9 1JR.

The length of contract shall be for the period of three years commencing from the 05 May 2026 to 04 May 2029.
