Description
Windows & Doors (WD3) is proposed to carry forward the existing Windows and Doors (WD2) product concept, with enhanced specifications, regulatory requirements, and competency criteria. The proposed framework will retain the following lots:
Lot 1: PVC-U windows and doors
Lot 2: Timber windows and doors
Lot 3: Aluminium-clad timber windows and doors
The engagement will also explore opportunities for innovation and potential additional workstreams, including high-performance and enhanced-security products, heritage-compliant designs, advanced glazing solutions, emerging materials, and potentially inspection and maintenance services (noting that maintenance is also covered under alternative LHCPG products).

Engagement process description
This pre market engagement is being undertaken to inform the development of a proposed Windows and Doors Framework (WD3). The engagement will seek input from the market on the proposed scope, lotting structure, technical requirements, competency and accreditation standards, innovation opportunities, and delivery models.
Engagement will be conducted through a combination of written market engagement questions and optional virtual engagement sessions. Interested parties will be invited to provide feedback on draft proposals, including the proposed lot structure, product coverage, emerging regulatory requirements, and opportunities for product and service innovation. No commercial or pricing information will be requested or considered as part of this engagement.
Participation in this engagement is voluntary and will not confer any advantage or disadvantage in any subsequent procurement process. The contracting authority may use the feedback received to refine the scope and structure of the future procurement but is not obliged to act on any specific responses. Any future procurement will be conducted in accordance with the applicable procurement legislation and will be subject to a separate formal procurement process and notices.
