two.1.4) Short description

Derbyshire County Council is publishing a PIN setting out it's intention to seek a sole provider , with relevant experience and expertise to deliver a programme of both Mental Health Awareness training and Suicide Awareness and Managing Mental Health Conversations training tailored (not standardised training e.g. MHFA England Training, Asist or similar) delivered across Derbyshire (excluding Derby City). The training will be aimed at target organisations, which include a broad range of statutory, community and voluntary sector organisations and places will be free to participants. Training will comprise a mix of both face-to-face training sessions and virtual online (live trainer delivered) interactive training sessions.

Alongside the training, the provider is also required to organise and deliver the annual stakeholder event of the Derbyshire Self-Harm and Suicide Prevention Partnership Forum (DSSPPF) in each of the years of the contract. The DSSPPF includes both Derbyshire County and Derby City organisations and is the local suicide prevention partnership.

Contract start date 01 March 2023, initial term 12 months, with the option to extend for two further 24 month periods.

Derbyshire County Council will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar days (or 15 if non-electronic or fax methods used) standstill period at the point information on the award of the

contract is communicated to the relevant economic operators. Debriefing by the Council

shall be in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulation 2015 (as amended) (the

Regulations). Such information should be requested from the addressee in Section 1.1. If an

appeal regarding the award of the contract has not been successfully resolved the

Regulations provide for the aggrieved parties who are of the opinion that they have been

harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the Regulations, to take action in the High Court

(England, Wales and Northern Ireland). Any such action must be brought as soon as

possible.
