The Authority has received confirmation from Department for Education (DfE) that funds have been granted to the Authority via DfE’s Family Hubs and Start for Life programme 2022-2025. The Start for Life offer includes an element of supporting and developing the Home Learning Environment HLE. The HLE includes the interactions parents have in and around the home with their children from birth. The quality of the HLE is a key predictor of a baby’s and child’s early language ability and future success.
