Leicestershire Police would like to invite Tenderers to bid for Waste Services across the Force. This tender is split into 6 Lots:

Lot 3 -Collection and Disposal of Confidential Shredding

Leicestershire Police are looking to appoint a Supplier who can deliver on-site shredding in line with Home Office CPNI secure destruction requirements. Items that are marked as secret or above will have been pre-shredded.

Shredding must take place on Leicestershire Police sites and have the facility for Leicestershire Police staff to witness shreds when required at no additional cost - a certificate of destruction must be produced for every service. Witness shreds will be notified to the supplier at least 5 working days in advance of the scheduled shred.

Leicestershire Police wish to appoint a supplier to collect and dispose of clinical waste (tiger and orange bag) from various Leicestershire Police sites. Waste includes but is not limited to used Personal Protective Equipment (tiger bag) and items contaminated with bodily fluids/faeces (orange bag).
The supplier must provide at no cost to the force, external lockable yellow clinical waste bins for sites listed on the collection schedule below and tiger bags or orange bags dependent on the site.

Leicestershire Police wish to appoint a Supplier for the Provision of an enclosed lockable RORO (minimum 30yd3, maximum 40yd3) at FHQ site. The RORO will be used to store drugs for secure collection and disposal, which include but are not limited to Cannabis, Heroin, Cocaine, Liquid Methadone and Fertiliser. Suppliers must provide a Collection/exchange service on an ad-hoc basis approx. 4 times a year; this may change and fluctuate and it is expected that any fluctuations in service throughout the life of the contract will be charged at a set rate.

Leicestershire Police wish to appoint a supplier to collect and dispose of veterinary waste (dog faeces) from Leicestershire Police Headquarters, LE19 2BX.
The Supplier will provide, at no cost to Leicestershire Police, an external lockable yellow 1100L waste bin and suitable bin liners. The veterinary waste bin which must be serviced every fortnight on a day specified by the Supplier at least 1 month prior to the contract start date.
