This procurement process aims to establish a framework agreement for the supply and subsequent maintenance of equipment within warranty periods, to support a planned refurbishment programme across the centres listed above over a 2-to-4-year period. The timing of each individual investment will be at the Councils discretion.
The requirement is split into 3 Lots:

This lot is focused on the supply of cardiovascular equipment with integral TV, music, predesigned and virtual workouts , internet browsing, access to entertainment Apps, heart rate monitoring and quick speed / incline / decline adjustments, indoor cycling to support group exercise and a digitally connected resistance range to support weight training. The equipment range must be compatible with a digital platform that supports the customer experience, trainer to member digital interaction, personal programme development , result monitoring , health data and body composition tracking , connectivity to 3rd party applications such as Strava, live class streaming , access to on demand virtual group exercise and navigation to other platforms / websites. Finally, the Lot includes the provision of audio-visual design and installations covering TV’s, sounds system feature lighting and cabling connections to ensure full integration between the connected equipment and the gym environment.
