The Authority publishes this Notice of an Amendment, in relation to the published value of the Contract, to be made in pursuance of the original Notice 2024/S 000-023841 published in OJEU on the 30th July 2024 [and subsequent Notice Reference: 2024/S 000-028993 extending the tender until 20th September 2024].

The original Notice, and subsequent Notice, outlined the value of the Initial Term, including implementation, but did not outline the value of the Extension Periods. This detail was included in the Invitation to Tender (ITT). This Notice of Amendment confirms the full value, including Initial Term, implementation period and, additionally if required, the Extension Periods, is estimated not to exceed £63,624,000. All other details relating to this procurement remain unchanged.

As stated in the ITT at paragraphs 1.11 and 1.12 the estimated total value of the Contract over the Initial Term including implementation and additionally if required, the extension periods is estimated not to exceed £63,624,000. which includes the estimated costs of the services to be provided by the successful tenderer including those provided during the Implementation Period. The actual value of the Contract will depend on several influencing factors including the prices tendered by the successful tenderer, future transaction volumes and whether the Authority exercises its rights to extend.

This Notice is issued by the Lord Chancellor acting as part of the Crown (the "Authority").

This service will be provided for the benefit of, and managed by, His Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS) an executive agency of the Authority.

The FTP middle office provides a range of data handling, processing, banking, and Management Information (MI) related services to support court services.

The provision of these services is critical to the processing of the court operations and involves the handling of high volumes of processing tasks, including receipting, payments, validation, reconciliation, and consolidation of up to 10 million transactions (over £3bn) per year.

The Authority intends to appoint a supplier to implement a service that will include integrating and maintaining a system that can pay, receive, account and reconcile high volumes of data and financial transactions.  It will incorporate the ability to drill down to detailed transactional levels, support the management of individual cases, include exception handling process and the implementation of efficiencies and improved ways of working. The supplier is also required to undertake a transition programme, including data migration, in parallel to the incumbent service.
