This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise all interested suppliers of our planned supplier pre-market engagement event for Procure to Pay (P2P) and Materials/Stock Management Software. We now welcome registrations of interest to be part of these sessions.

The sessions are intended to enable EEAST to obtain improved market understanding as well as inform specification and tender documentation development for our future tender.

Please register your interest by completing the registration form and returning by Wednesday, 8th June 2022 @ 5pm, please see further details within the full description of this notice.

This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise all interested suppliers of our planned supplier pre-market engagement event and to welcome registrations of interest to be part of these sessions. The sessions are intended to enable EEAST to obtain improved market understanding as well as inform specification and tender documentation development for our future tender.

About The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST)

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) covers the six counties which make up the East of England – Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk and provides a range of services, but is best known for the 999 emergency service. Our dedicated and skilled staff work 365 days a year, 24 hours a day to make sure patients receive the best possible care.

Our diverse area is spread over the 7,500 square miles and contains a mix of rural, coastal and urban areas – from Watford to Wisbech and Cromer Canvey Island. Our services are tailored to meet the needs of each community’s differing environmental and medical needs.

The Trust employs around 4,000 staff and 1,000 volunteers to deal with over 1,000,000 calls every year. Trust staff and volunteers are trained and experienced in caring for patients in a variety of situations, ranging from life-threatening illness and injury to less serious situations such as falls in the home or patients with minor injuries.

Supplier Pre-market Engagement

It is our intention to hold two hybrid (in person and virtual) supplier events where suppliers are welcomed to join in person or via Microsoft Teams. Each supplier will have approximately 45 minutes, with a maximum of 2 attendees, to provide an overview of their relevant software system(s) which they feel could meet the operational needs of EEAST, either for Procure to Pay (P2P) and / or Materials Management.

Session Details (in person & Virtual)

Session 1: Tuesday 28th June, 9am to 5pm (45 minute time slots to be allocated)

Session 2: Wednesday 29th June, 9am to 5pm (45 minute time slots to be allocated)

Please register your interest by completing the registration form and returning by Wednesday, 8th June 2022 @ 5pm.

Once your interest has been registered, we will contact you to confirm a time slot for one of the sessions, a final Agenda and share a Microsoft Teams link if attending virtually. Please note that we are unlikely to be able to accommodate all suppliers who register an interest to participate in the sessions.

This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is however, issued solely for the purpose of conducting supplier pre-market engagement. Interested parties will not be prejudiced or advantaged by any response or lack thereof to the PIN or attendance (virtual or in person) to the supplier pre-market engagement event and a response to this PIN, or the event, does not guarantee any invitation to participate in any future procurement.

This PIN does not constitute a call for competition to procure any services, supplies or works for EEAST. EEAST is not liable for any costs, fees, or expenses incurred by any party in replying to the PIN or attending the supplier pre-market engagement event sessions.
