two.1.4) Short description

The vision for the new children and young people's drug and alcohol service is to have an integrated service model with wider children and young people services. It will provide a range of young person-centred, sensitive, and trauma-informed services to CYP who may be at risk of substance misuse or currently experiencing substance related harm.

The service will be structured to support Children and Young People with three tiers of provision: Universal, Targeted and Specialist.

The Service will deliver a Public Health approach to address poor health outcomes of substance misuse and promotes health transitions into adulthood.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period.
