Bidders were invited to tender for Project 3221 - OPSS Testing of Controlled Door Closing Devices. The requirement was for routine standardised testing of door closers. The applicable tests, setups and parameters for the products are specified in the designated British Standards Institute legislation – BS EN 1154:1997: Building Hardware Controlled Door Closing Devices.
The requirement and contract shall be for a period of 24 months with the option to extend by 12 months. The estimated value for the contract is £200,000.00 for the contract period and is exclusive of VAT. Please note this is a secondary contract to be used as contingency where the primary contract cannot be used.
This Procurement was carried out in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 under the Regulation 27 Open Procedure.
