This Contract was placed using the negotiated procedure without prior publication of a Contract notice pursuant to Regulation 16 1(a)(ii) of the UK Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 ‘Use of the Negotiated Procedure without prior publication of a Contract Notice’. This Contract is awarded to Level Peaks as there are no other suppliers able to supply this item within the timing required to equip the frontline. Furthermore, the equipment supplied by Level Peaks has been rigorously assessed and qualified for use in both fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft and against the current Government Quality Assurance Requirements (GQAR), thus making Level Peaks Associates the only supplier able to deliver this equipment to meet the required Standard. Further to DEFCON 658 the Cyber Risk Profile of the Contract is Very Low from Cyber Risk Assessment as defined in Defence Standard 05-138.
