two.2.4) Description of the procurement
South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority are seeking a provider to work closely with South Yorkshire employers, to provide in-work numeracy support by training selected employees to become numeracy champions, leaving a legacy of support beyond the life of the Multiply programme. The provider will facilitate this through:
• A dedicated Multiply project worker to identify, target and engage specific sector workplaces, to be agreed with SYMCA, across South Yorkshire and to coordinate and oversee interventions
• Delivering ‘train the trainer’ training to upskill employee representatives as numeracy champions
• Referral of relevant learners to appropriate accredited Adult Education provision following the intervention.
