The Pharmacy Production Unit, Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) is looking to replace existing Vapour Hydrogen Peroxide (VHP) Isolator system used for aseptic preparation and manufacture of pharmaceuticals. The current system comprises:
• 2 x 4 glove sterilising isolators- rigid body ,positive pressure, turbulent flow
• 2 x double half suit bank isolators- flexible film, positive pressure, turbulent flow
• 5 x 4 glove processing isolators – flexible film, positive pressure, turbulent flow
• 2 x Bioquell Clarus C VHP generator – used to sanitise internal chamber, including loaded starting materials in isolators as above
The existing VHP isolator system is now 20+ years old and control systems including HMI Interfaces are now obsolete with VHP generator systems now obsolete
