Market Engagement for the procurement of a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) for De Montfort University, Leicester, UK. De Montfort University (DMU) is seeking Market Engagement (ME) responses from suppliers who potentially would be interested in supplying a VLE solution to the University in the coming future. DMU is seeking to enter into a period of market engagement with suppliers who could provide a future VLE Solution. The ME process may also include the potential opportunity for presentations / demonstrations during end July / early August 2021.DMU currently has a number of future options under consideration by way of the longterm route ahead in the area of future VLE provision to the University and which are all under consideration as part of a current wider VLE / Teaching and Learning (T&L) Applications Review; and which may include the undertaking of a full procurement for a future VLE solution provision. There are a number of variables influencing any future final decisions, dates and timelines; including any re-procurement which may be necessary and which is fully compliant in accordance with DMU Financial Regulations & Procurement Policy and any external Regulations and best practice applicable and currently in force at the time of undertaking any activity of a procurement related nature. Currently no firm decisions have been made by DMU and this market engagement process does not represent a call for competition or place any commitment on any party to any future tender process in this area of supply at this stage.The aim of this process including the holding of any presentations / demonstrations, is to undertake a structured market engagement across the VLE supplier market and to encourage suppliers to share their views and offer suggestions with DMU. The information gathered from this process may then be used to inform on the development of any future Requirements.If you are interested in responding to this ME Enquiry and being offered a presentation / demonstration, please register your interest on the InTend system at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/demontfort/aspx/Home and in due course submit a fully Questionnaire response via the InTend messaging system.
