The “Tier 2 In-Person Weight Management Service”, commissioned by the Public Health and Wellbeing Division in South Gloucestershire Council (the Council), will provide an evidence-based intervention to families with children aged 5-17 years and adults aged 18 and over, who are above a healthy weight, with the aim of reducing the risk of poor health outcomes and to reduce health inequalities

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded using direct award process C.

- Date of contract award was 4th April 2024. Services intended be provided between 4th April 2024 - 31st March 2025 with an option to extend for a further 12 month to end 31st March 2026.
