This framework will give the assurance that providers have met a stated set of standards and so will give a basic mark of quality assurance.

Lot 1 requirements - The Supplier must have an OfSTED rating of either 'Outstanding' or 'Good' to be accepted onto the DPS. Any Supplier, whose rating is 'Requires Improvement', 'Inadequate' or 'Not yet inspected', will be accepted onto the DPS but will suspended from receiving any referral requests. Also the Supplier should be registered as an independent school if providing full-time education to five (5) or more pupils of statutory school age or one (1) pupil who is a Looked After Children and/or has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
