Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (the Council), is seeking to develop a Framework of Support to Live at Home Care providers. The framework is to be established to provide social care funded packages of support to adults aged 18 and over, who meet the eligibility criteria. This includes adults who have assessed care and support needs associated with older age, physical and sensory impairment, mental illness, learning disability and for people living with dementia. The framework will be in place for 2 years with an option to extend for a further 3 periods each of one year, during which time providers may apply to join or may exit at any time. The framework will commence on 1st November 2022. Total estimate is for the total 5 years (if extensions are granted)

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (the Council), is seeking to develop a Framework of Support to Live at Home Care providers. The framework is to be established to provide social care funded packages of support to adults aged 18 and over, who meet the eligibility criteria. This includes adults who have assessed care and support needs associated with older age, physical and sensory impairment, mental illness, learning disability and for people living with dementia. The framework will be in place for a total of five years (if all extensions granted), during which time providers may apply to join or may exit at any time.

The framework will commence on the 1st November 2022 and finish on the 31st October 2027 (If all extensions are granted). It is anticipated the total value of the framework will not exceed £60,304,305 over the full 5 year term, however the Council does not guaranteed this or any level of spend through any category of the framework. First initial deadline for participation is the 9th September 2022 at 12 noon. Further deadline for submission of flexible framework documentation: 30th of every month. Initial deadline date to be on the Framework will be 09/09/2022. The Framework will start on 01/11/2022 and end on 31/10/2024 with options to extend for 3 further periods each of a year. Applications to go onto the Framework can be made at any time and will be evaluated after 30th of each month.See framework documentation via YORtender.
