The service provides high quality palliative end of life care in an in-patient bedded facility in Bassetlaw that is not an acute setting; for all patients with end of life care needs, regardless of diagnosis, who require step up/step down care from an acute setting, respite care due to carer fatigue or terminal care. Provide a Clinical Specialist Nurse workforce to support community palliative and EoL care provision in the Bassetlaw community.

The ICB are intending to award a contract under the most suitable provider process.

The approximate lifetime value of the contract is 3.9 million.

This is an new service with a new provider;

The dates between which the services are intended to be provided are 1 August 2025 to 31 July 2028.
