VEAT Notice intention to award a public contract . The University intends to enter into a contract with Planon Ltd to migrate, upgrade and support its Facilities Management Integrated Workplace Management Database System (IWMS). The existing system is an On-Premise solution and will be migrated to a SaaS model and upgraded.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The University uses the Planon IWMS to manage a wide variety of Facilities Management processes across the University's campuses.
In line with its current ICT strategy, the University is now looking to upgrade and move this service from the current On Premise solution to the latest version, on a Software as a Service basis
Migration to a new system at this point involves significant time and resource and requires alignment with the University's longer-term digital strategy and corporate system development planning and funding during a period of uncertainty, including other ongoing strategic projects.
The contract will be awarded for a 5 year initial term, with the option to extend for up to a further 24 months in 12 month increments. The contract will be reviewed after 3 years to ensure that it is still the most appropriate strategy.
