Please refer to the Council’s website Thurrock Council for further details on the Council.The Council’s requirement under this Contract is for Cloud and On-premises solution for disaster recovery and business continuity arrangements. In summary:1. To provide backup as a service• Capability to provide continued or scheduled backups for data protection• Immutable backup protection• Insider Protection• Encryption at rest and in transit2. Disaster Recovery as a service• Provision to restore and host 100% of virtual server environment to match or exceed the performance of Thurrock’s network• Provide private cloud compute to run a number of Active-Active services3. Provide physical rackspace for potential hardware i.e. Physical firewalls.4. Provide a private cloud for core Active-Active services.5. Provide a Sandbox environment and support services for Bi-annual BCP testing (4-week event twice a year).
