On behalf of Gold Hill HA, B2G.services are tendering a national framework for use by contracting authorities across the UK wishing to procure the new or continued services of specialist roofing contractors to deliver pitched and solar roofing installations, repairs and upgrades, and all associated works, goods and services, for both residential and non-residential property.

Specialist pitched roofing contractors with proven capability of successfully delivering projects for contracting authorities are invited to email tenders@b2g.services.

Specialist solar contactors are invited to contact tenders@b2g.services with a view to registering for the DPS which operate alongside B2G frameworks, noting that B2G framework suppliers may assign projects to specialist suppliers registered on the B2G DPS, who then contract with the authority and deliver those elements under the auspices of the framework supplier, and compliant with the specification, standards and regulations set out in the framework documents. This facility optimises project procurement, delivery, risk management and control.

Contracting authorities will have the option to run a mini competition or direct award any contract to any supplier, Contracts may relate to either responsive or planned works, and in terms of scale may relate to anything from a single project on a single site to a programme of multiple projects across multiple sites delivered over an extended term.

Description of renewals

The framework agreement shall run for an initial term of twelve months and then automatically renew for subsequent periods of the same length until such time as B2G serves notice of termination.

The shortened term enables all parties to better withstand market and supply chain volatility, with pricing remaining current, competitive, durable and viable. The automatic renewal ensures optimum efficiency.

To ensure the framework remains open, fair and competitive at all times, additional suppliers may also be appointed, subject to submitting a bid and being evaluated and awarded by B2G in accordance with the same criteria and terms.

Whilst this framework will not seek to limit the choice and source of any products procured through it, given historic usage patterns and thus likelihood their products will feature in client specifications, it's been prepared with the active input and co-operation of system suppliers including Redland, Marley, Sandtoft and Cedral, with a view to facilitating the procurement of projects where their roofing and solar products are being installed.

Gold Hill HA has appointed B2G to manage frameworks that help contracting authorities across the UK to build and maintain property and, in so doing, deliver commercial and social value.
