A summary of the expected community benefits has been provided as follows:
All contractors admitted to the DPS who are awarded contracts to value of between 100k GBP and 200k GBP will be required to provide at least twelve (No. 12) weeks of work experience or an agreed period of paid employment for a participant who is eligible for help with wages costs.
All contractors admitted to the DPS who are awarded contracts to value of more than 200k GBP will be required to provide least twenty-six (No. 26) weeks of training/work experience or an agreed period of paid employment for a participant who is eligible for help with wages costs. Trainees are to be obtained from a source agreed by the Council. The contractor will be required to meet with Falkirk Council’s Employment and Training Unit to discuss implementation.
