Magenta Living uses a combination of solutions to manage waste and are looking to procure a range of Contracts to deliver waste management solutions that reduce waste to landfill, provide opportunities for recycling as much as possible those items that are capable of re-use/ recycling, and where possible to redistribute goods capable of reuse/ recycling locally with a priority for homeless/ disadvantaged people/ including Magenta Living tenants in need.

The Contracting Authority will incorporate a minimum10 calendar day standstill period at the point information on award of the contract is communicated to tenderers including the reasons for its decision and the characteristics and relative advantages of the successful tender. If an appeal regarding the award of a contract has not be successfully resolved the Public Contracts Regulations2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland). Any such action must be sought promptly (within 3 months). Where a contract has not been entered into to the Court may order the setting aside of the award decision or order the authority to amend any document and may award damages.
