Crown Commercial Service, as the Authority, intends to put in place an agreement for the provision of occupational health, employee assistance programmes and eye care services for use by Central Government, UK public sector bodies, which includes the wider public sector and the third sector including but not limited to: local government, health, police, fire and rescue, housing associations, charities, education and devolved administrations and Central Government Departments and their arm’s length bodies and their agencies.

The format of the agreement is to be decided, however the aim is to provide access to a range of high-quality occupational health related services, in addition to eyecare services designed to meet the needs of UK Public Sector Bodies that may cover, but will not be limited to

- Full Service Provider

- Occupational Health Services

- Employee Assistance Programmes

- Occupational Health services – Regional and overseas supply

- Eyecare Services

The purpose of this PIN is to:

Give advance notice that CCS is intending to undertake a tendering exercise to set up a new contracting vehicle to service Public Sector Organisations for occupational health and related services requirements.

Gauge market interest by identifying service providers and customers who would be willing to help develop this new commercial agreement.

CCS invites input around the scope of the future commercial agreement, including its lots and structure, to help inform our understanding of market requirements. We currently plan to hold 2 supplier engagement sessions on Wednesday 10th May at 11am and also on Tuesday 16th May at 10am (suppliers will only need to sign up for one session).

The Authority reserves the right to present the requirement in the form of separate lot(s), where it determines that this is appropriate to do so.

The lotting structure of this commercial vehicle will be determined as a result of the market engagement.
