The contract was originally awarded during the COVID-19 pandemic and was extended until 31st March 2022 due to the establishment of the Lancashire & South Cumbria ICS. The start date for the commencement of the ICS as a legal entity was then extended to 1st July 2022. In order to ensure continuity of the service a decision was made to extend the service contract until 31st March 2023.

This Contract Award Notice is published under the Public Contract Regulations 2015. It is for clinical services which are Light Touch Regime services for the purpose of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (‘Regulations’) as specified in Schedule 3 of the Regulations. Accordingly, the contracting authority is only bound by those parts of the Regulations detailed in Chapter 3 Particular Procurement Regimes Section 7. The contracting authority is not voluntarily following any other part of the Regulations.
