The Provision of Domiciliary Care Services: Older People & Adult Physical Disabilities across urban areas of Blackburn with Darwen Local Authority.
The provider will be responsible for providing personal, domestic, social, emotional and rehabilitative care where appropriate, to enable service users to continue to live in their own homes and maintain as far as possible their independence and usual / preferred lifestyle.
Providers are required to give assistance to people in their own homes which will meet their assessed care needs and will often include elements of personal care and other tasks as defined in the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010, and as set out by the Care Quality Commission. The tasks and outcomes to be delivered will be described for each service user on the support plan, which will be completed at the time of the first commissioning of service.
