The Council is carrying out PPME for the aforementioned.The Council will consider the feedback received to help inform the Council’s options and further decision making. For the avoidance of doubt, this stage of the project is not part of a formal procurement process and the Council is not committing, at this stage, to carrying out such a process. Participation or non-participation in the pre-procurement market engagement shall not prevent any supplier participating in a potential future procurement, nor is it intended that any information supplied as part of the PPME shall place any supplier at an advantage in a potential procurement process. Participation in the PPME will be at each organisation’s own cost. No expense in responding to this PPME will be reimbursed by the Council. Further information can be found within the attached documentation. You are invited to submit a completed questionnaire by 12 noon on 27th May 2022

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Rapid identification of asymptomatic close contacts remains a key component to containing outbreaks. Early detection of cases reduces onward transmission of COVID-19. With the removal of the requirement of self-isolation for close contacts, identifying asymptomatic contacts through proactive PCR swabbing is a high priority. A rapid, flexible service to provide PCR testing or LFD testing (in emergency response only) for COVID-19 outbreaks remains an essential component of Hertfordshire County Council’s response and testing strategy. This service will provide a service for community settings and Independent Mental Healthcare providers and includes, but is not limited to:• High risk workplaces e.g., factories, processing plants, offices • Educational settings, including universities, colleges and in exceptional circumstances, special schools• Retirement homes• Children’s residential homes • Adult residential homes• Adult nursing homes• Refuges and homeless shelters• Prisons (The Mount Prison,) covering staff only, not prisoners • Communities with enduring transmission

To participate in this pre-procurement market engagement, organisations must submit their completed Supplier Questionnaire, together with any supporting documents, through the In-Tend system by the return deadline of 12.00 Noon 27th May 2022Please make sure that you have submitted your Supplier Questionnaire following the instructions above.
