UKAEA wishes to engage with contractors capable of finalising the design of 15-off non-nuclear type gloveboxes and all process equipment to be integrated within to deliver sub-assemblies of four systems.
The 15 gloveboxes are responsible for the secondary containment of the interconnecting process equipment that make up SDS, TVS, HPS and ANS. The Contractor is responsible for taking the detailed process design and developing it into a design for manufacture that optimises the manufacturability, operability, and maintainability of the gloveboxes and all the process equipment within.
