two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust is seeking a sole high quality Decontamination Service upon "fit for purpose"; reusable Podiatry Instrument Sets for use in Podiatry Clinics throughout the county. The Service must include the provision of the actual Instruments, being "loaned" to the Trust as ‘Routine’ Instrument Sets, as being consistently used by all of the Trusts Podiatry Service locations in their Clinics. Instrument Sets, will be required to be decontaminated as part of a three set rotational cycle with dedicated Instrument Sets assigned per Clinic.

Decontamination Services must be robust, in accordance with good practice at all times and as further specified in this document.

The Logistics Service must facilitate the collection and simultaneous delivery of appropriately presented and handled Instrument Sets, to and from each location, ensuring continuity of availability of sterile Instrument Sets for all Clinics, at all times.

The Trust is seeking offers based on two service options:

• Option A - Supply and decontamination of instruments for all podiatry appointments (in clinic and home visit appointments).

• Option B - Supply and decontamination of instruments for “in clinic” podiatry appointments and Supply of single use podiatry packs for “home visit” appointments.
