NHS Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are looking to engage organisations that will provide Blended Learning Adult Critical Care Nursing Programme.
Health Education England are inviting bidders to submit a tender response for the delivery of a nationally recognised Critical Care Qualification for qualified nurses, which can also be accessed by Allied Health Professionals where applicable.
This tender relates to the provision of Adult Critical Care training, to enable a boost in the number of trained and competent staff able to work in critical care and provide consistency in training across the country. It has been identified that, across all Critical Care units, this training is to be delivered to some 11,000 and more clinicians over the next four years.
Bidders must demonstrate an ability to work in partnership with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs), Acute health service providers or critical care service leaders to attract and recruit individuals who meet or exceed the agreed entry levels for the provision being offered.
Submissions are welcome from education providers who can provide this training at one or more of the geographical locations outlined within the tender documentation.
The maximum financial envelope for this procurement exercise is £10,000,000 exclusive of Vat. The contract period duration will be for 2 years with the option to extend up to a further two years subject to annual budget review and KPIs.
The deadline for submission of completed ITT submissions is 2nd July 2021 at 12:00pm (midday).
Late submissions will not be accepted therefore, please submit in good time prior to the deadline date and time. All communications should be made via the messaging function on the e-Tendering portal during the tender exercise.
The Contracting Authority requests that all communications are channelled through the e-portal system and not with the Contracting Authority itself other than as expressly permitted within this ITT.
