two.1.4) Short description

This PIN is to notify potential bidders that NI Water is retendering contract ‘C805 – Lifting and Fall Arrest Equipment – Supply, Maintenance, Testing and Certification’.

It is expected that this tender will be published to the market early July 2022.

We are also holding individual supplier information sessions on the 1st June 2022.

Please confirm your interest in this no later than 12 noon 25th May 2022.

We would be interested in speaking with suppliers who have experience of supplying the below services;

- Capacity to service in the region of 20,000 items of similar lifting and fall arrest equipment

- Independent competent planned and remedial maintenance

- Reportable reactive repairs and maintenance generated follow up work. (as highlighted by the Clients external independent inspectorate and at the instruction of the Client) of Clients Equipment.

- Supply and delivery of consumables, sundries, spares and miscellaneous Items required under this Contract.

- The provision of all management information reports associated with providing the Services.

- Maintenance of the Clients Equipment and Didsbury (by authorised Didsbury agents) at scheduled intervals.

- Competent professional services in relation to duties and tasks required to ensure legislative compliance

- Testing, marking and certification of Clients Equipment.

- Supply, design, installation, erection and setting to work new Items and providing works certificates and associated documents as appropriate.

- Modification of the current Clients Equipment to meet the Clients changing business needs.

- Pump chain maintenance in line with an agreed written scheme.

In addition we will also take some time to discuss the Social Value aspect which will be included in this tender. As of 1st June 2022 it is mandatory for Social Value to be included and scored in tenders, worth a minimum of 10% of the overall tender score.
