Background

NHS Grampian seeking support to improve the equipment performance and develop the operations and maintenance arrangements their Energy Centre on the Foresterhill Campus for a period of up to 1 year.

The Energy Centre consists of

· 3 Cochran steam generators

· Biomass boiler

· Centrax power generation package / CHP

· Gas compression module

· Ancillary equipment

We are looking for a programme of consultancy support, including day-to-day coordination and coaching of existing staff and contractors.

We are seeking proposals from companies with expertise and experience in operating similar equipment and a track-record of equipment performance improvement. We estimate a requirement of 1 WTE suitably experienced person, predominantly based on our site, with corporate back-up as needed.

· Nominated person(s)

· Developing or sustaining equipment performance measurement

· Performance analysis, assessment and options development

· Day-to-day coordination & coaching of existing staff and contactors

· O&M procedure development

· O&M planning & scheduling (incl spares and capital replacement)

· Develop (and deliver where appropriate) a programme of staff training
