Nottinghamshire County Council wish to appoint an experienced Provider of medically managed Inpatient Detoxification Services on behalf of the following local authorities comprising the East Midlands Consortium:-
• Derbyshire County Council
• Derby City Council
• Leicester City Council
• Leicestershire County Council
• Rutland County Council
• Lincolnshire County Council
• Nottingham City Council
• Nottinghamshire County Council
This is a requirement for a Provider with a minimum of three years of experience of delivering medically managed Inpatient Detoxification Services that achieve positive outcomes for the people accessing the service.
The Provider is required to provide the residential facility and the withdrawal and stabilisation services. The residential facility must be within one of the local authority areas represented by the East Midlands Consortium.
The Provider will also be required to administer the service which will include co-ordination and monitoring of the referrals into the service with the aim of ensuring the allocation of bed days in the service is relative to the funding allocation for each authority.
Assuming the earliest commencement date of the 4th July 2022 the initial term of the contract will be 2 years and approximately 9 months (until 31st March 2025) with the potential to extend for up to an additional 36 months (until 31st March 2028) in increments of up to 12 months. The contract value attributed to the maximum potential contract term of 5 years and approximately 9 months is estimated to be £6,000,000 (six million pounds) inclusive of VAT.

Nottinghamshire County Council is conducting an open tender process with the aim of appointing an experienced Provider to deliver medically managed Inpatient Detoxification Services on behalf of the following local authorities comprising the East Midlands Consortium:-

Due to the urgency of the requirement for the Inpatient Detoxification Services, Nottinghamshire County Council is fixing a shortened time limit for the receipt of bids of no less than 15 days from the date of dispatch of this Contract Notice.
