This FPS is for high-quality providers that have a track record in delivering person-centred and outcome-focused services which will support people with mental health needs. The Council are looking for a range of CQC registered and unregistered providers to apply and we would like to encourage both existing and new Providers to participate in this FPS to deliver good quality outcomes for Service Users.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Support should focus on people’s strengths and existing networks so that they can live as independently as possible, promoting improving outcomes and recovery to greater independence. Unpaid carers also have a lot of expertise and knowledge so offering support to strengthen their abilities to care for family members and friends. If people want to remain in their own or family home this should be supported where possible. By having a menu of options available this will facilitate choice and control for individuals. We also want to promote providers offering innovative solutions that will tailor make support across lives not services.

Provision should be available to anyone aged 16+ (or all age).

Support could include Supported Living; Residential Homes; Nursing Homes; Respite; Domiciliary care; Emergency Accommodation; Specialist support at home; Shared Lives; Outreach; In-reach; Floating Support; Transitional services into adulthood.
