two.2.4) Description of the procurement

NIBSC is presently using 963 Supervisor software for its Trend Building Management System (BMS). As this is no longer developed and available NIBSC is looking into options to move to an alternative Supervisor platform.NIBSC is aware that the Trend IQVISION software will replace 963; however, if other systems are available that replicate the full functions of the present 963 they will be considered. Following procurement and contract award, there will be a proof of concept trial system set up to ensure the chosen software can perform as required by NIBSC. If successful and subject to approval NIBSC would then move to a full migration of the new system.
