This Technical Dialogue follows the initial pre-market engagement. Please refer to the The Briefing Paper and Lines of Enquiry which is attached.

The following gives an indications to potential scope:-

Sellafield Limited is currently preparing to initiate a procurement process for nuclear diving services within the Pile Fuel Storage Pond
(PFSP) at Sellafield site. The Pile Fuel Storage Pond (PFSP) is a legacy facility constructed in the late 1940s to provide underwater storage,
cooling and decanning of irradiated nuclear fuel and isotopes. The facility consists of the main pond structure and an additional 12 bays. On
the successful completion of the current Nuclear Diving Pilot to clear 2 of the bays, it has been identified that a new future diving
capability is required to support clearance of the remaining bays and main pond structure .
The pre-market engagement with interested suppliers is to investigate the capability and capacity of the supply chain. This information and
knowledge will inform the final acquisition strategy for the procurement. This will ensure that the requirements are effectively met and
delivered in a strategy that meets market capabilities and requirements. It also provides procurement awareness for suppliers regarding this
requirement. Any information gathered through this market consultation exercise may inform internal business planning and any possible
subsequent procurement process and WILL NOT be appraised in any future tender evaluation exercise. Should you wish to participate in

Note- Non-Nuclear diving services currently provided by the Sellafield Inhouse Dive Team is NOT included within this scope.
