The Stoller Biomarker Discovery Centre (SBDC) was opened in 2016 as a result of funding by a philanthropic gift from the Stoller Charitable Trust, the Medical Research Council (MRC) and in partnership with SCIEX, to help to industrialise the process of identifying biomarkers. The Centre was stocked with a large suite of high-end SCIEX mass spectrometers, including TripleTOF® 6600 Systems and QTRAP® 6500+ Systems and associated equipment for clinical proteomics and metabolomics applications. The Centre works to a quality system and has a dedicated IT infrastructure for the management and assessment of the data produced.
